On the 10th Date of Christmas my True Love gave
to me…
Marie
Marie grew up in Manti, UT. She has lived in both Norway and
Mexico for a little while because that is where her parents are from. She
enjoys snowboarding but has never hunted. She said she was opened to the idea
of hunting. However, she might feel bad if she killed a little deer but Sean
asked about turkeys. Since turkeys are annoying she would not mind hunting
turkeys. She is definitely opened to hunting but doesn’t want to deal with the
bloody stuff. Perfect…. I wouldn’t either!
She is 27 years old and has a 4 year old girl daughter. She
was living in Provo the last few months but just recently found herself moving
back to Manti.
Sean went to pick Maria up but she was not completely ready
and was still fixing her hair. This gave them some time to begin to get to know
each other. They even talked about her hair colors. She mentioned that she has
had completely blonde hair before and completely dark hair. I find it very
interesting that she said people definitely treat her differently with the
different hair colors she has. Then it was super funny because without planning
it at all they seemed to be matching a little bit in their outfits! Later that
night the waiter even commented about it and asked if they had planned to match
for something because their outfits complemented each other very well.

After a long day of moving, Sean met up with Marie and was
starving. She wanted to eat something healthy so they ate at Carrabba’s Italian
grill in Provo/Orem area.
They were going to maybe try to ice skate but then they
started to talk about her nieces wedding coming up. So they went to the mall to
look at dresses and heels. Sean said it was a lot of fun just walking around
the mall and getting to know Marie better.
At one of the stores they found this cute little girl’s
Disney princess dress for her daughter. She bought her a dress, slippers, wand
and a little tiara. Sean really had a blast just hanging around the mall and
shopping with Marie!
After the mall, Sean and Marie were still enjoying hanging
out that they decided to find something else to do. Sean remembered that there
was this Christmas show at the place he had gone to open mic night the other
night.
Sean said it was a great night and had a ton of fun with
Marie. Since I did not have a date scheduled yet for Sean for Sunday he decided
to see if Marie wanted to meet up on Sunday. Sean ended up picking her up for
church! After church Marie needed to get her stuff ready to go back to Manti
since she had been up for a few days with friends. Sean also had to go do some
work. It sounds like it was a good night and that they had a lot in common.
Will the connection last? Can a long distance relationship emerge?
