Day 5 - Alicia Gleed

On the 5th date of Christmas my True Love gave to me….

Alicia Gleed!

I was told that the date went amazing! Sean was super excited telling me about Alicia and the fun date. So Alicia is super cute, nice, talkative and funny. Sean even mentioned that she reminded him of himself many times. She is so energetic and even will often talk with her hands….which is exactly want Sean does in I think every conversation!

For the date, Alicia had Sean meet her at her work. She is the marketing person for homeless shelter downtown SLC. She works full time during the day as a teacher at a junior high. What a sweet lady… a teacher by day and a helper at the homeless shelter in the evenings.

It all began when she handed Sean a booklet!

 He opens to this~

The whole Booklet!

I LOVE this! I think it is one of the cutest things ever! Sean and I are from Texas where we were born and raised. Because of being in a small town in East Texas we never had the opportunity to do all these cute things that happen for prom or the thousands of other dances that happen during high school. I had never heard of cute little day dates before dances or anything so this is definitely something special! I know that he most definitely felt so loved with the effort that was put into this cute little book!

He picked Thailand for dinner

Sean said the Conversation was great and they talked a lot.  Because they were having such a good time, they even started to lose track of time. They realized that they needed to look at the Christmas book and see what the next choice of the evening was. The next option was to go to Zoo, go to Christmas carol thing at the energy solutions, or go to a movie. Well…the zoo was had closed and the Christmas carol thing was over. They started to drive and were talking and Alicia found out that Sean had never been ice skated…. I had no clue he had never been ice skating (Man of adventure). So they decided they were going to fix this dilemma. When they got to the ice skating place they started to go in but were stopped and asked if they were a part of this private party. Although it would have been so easy to lie and weasel way in to skate they sadly said “NO” and were on their way.

They ended up deciding to go karaoke instead. When they arrived at the place they sat and talked forever. They were only able to each sing 1 song because there was such a long list.

They seemed to have a lot in common. They have both had many similar life experiences. They seemed to almost finish each other’s sentences. Sean felt like it was super easy to talk with Alicia and conversation just seemed to flow! She runs races and was actually running the same Halloween Half that Sean and I ran together…. If we had only known…too funny! She has not run a full marathon but wants to maybe one day! She loves to travel and do tons of different things. She wants to go to Thailand one day!

It sounds like it was an amazing night and Sean really seemed to definitely enjoy Alicia’s spunky and energetic personality!

I definitely love this girl! But Sean is the one with the feelings that matter.... Will their connection continue...
